Nikon D810 quick setup guide
Set time+date:menu(left side)/spanner/time zone and date
Charge battery
Put in CF card
Put in SD card
Set memory slots:menu(left side)/primary slot selection=cf card slot
secondary slot function=raw primary – jpeg secondary
Setup photo resolution: menu(left side)/camera/image quality=nef raw+jpeg fine
jpeg/tiff recordingimage size/large
nef (raw)recordingimage size/RAW L
Format cards (hold down mode:(top) and hold trash (back left) for 2 seconds
Turn command wheel (back right wheel) to select card
To start format, press mode+hold again.

to view images on different cards:press playback/press zoom out/the two cards will appear in bottom left corner of the screen
you cannot see any difference with raw coz it is a stored jpeg that is shown!!!

P=Programmed Auto/camera sets speed and aprature
S=Shutter Priority Auto/camera sets apreture DO NOT USE WITH FIXED APRATURE LENS
A=aperture priority/camera sets speed
M=manual mode
